The principal focus of Colorado Forest Products is to create public awareness of our brand and the importance of buying wood products from our forests. As such, we welcome correspondence from existing or potential businesses using our own forest products. Producers who use 50 percent of Colorado wood for any product can be listed on the CFP and Colorado Proud websites for free by simply mailing in a signed copy of our LICENSE AGREEMENT. Our efforts are funded by the Colorado State Forest Service, primarily through the Colorado Utilization and Marketing Program (CO WOOD).

JEFF THOMAS

Jeff is the campaign coordinator for CFP, handling the areas of website design/maintenance and media outreach. He is a longtime Colorado environmental and political journalist and a 1993/94 Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Michigan. Jeff has worked as an environment/science publicist at Ohio University and the Colorado Division of Wildlife and now provides consulting for a variety of natural resource agencies, projects and companies, including Sage Resources of Missoula Mont. Jeff holds a BA in Broadcast Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MS in Natural Resource Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
